Disharmony of Our Planet Shown Through Yin Yang Illustrations

In Chinese philosophy the yin yang represents the complementary nature of all things. Light and
dark are not opposing forces, rather interconnected and necessary to maintain harmony.
Creative Director Dalip Singh uses this motif to design in depth illustrations of the
Earth. The images show the dual forces of destruction and nature’s beauty at the same
time. The illustrations feature the elements Land, Water, and Air. The light side of
the yin yang is clinging for survival as the darkness covers the majority of the
image, showing the horribly skewed imbalance of the
e Earth that humans have
