Trip to Japan on offer in Tiger Camera 2015 contest

Hosted by retailer Tiger Stores the free-to-enter contest is searching for the best images worldwide on the theme of ‘Borders’. The winning image will be published in the Tiger Camera book. Organisers say they have the right to publish and use the photos ‘for further materials, in case they are chosen by the jury’. The closing date is 1 July. PRESS RELEASE
June 1 saw the launch of Tiger Camera 2015 – the most exciting and diverse global photography competition around the world. The competition, hosted by Tiger Stores, is a huge annual event seeing photographers from all over the globe entering their best images. The closing date is July 1, so you still have time to wow the judges with your images and creativity.

The Jury this year consists of British creative, photographer and Instagram superstar, Matt Scutt, the Danish photographer (and social media celebrity) Kenneth Nguyen, the English street artist David Shillinglaw, Japanese visual artist Misaki Kawai, the German photographer Jörg Nicht and the Danish photographer Nicolai Howalt.
The best art and creative talent from around the world are investing time to judge this phenomenal competition, but do you have what it takes to win?

The theme this year is ‘Borders’. Where does the border lie? Is it inside of us or out? Shall we move it, respect it or cross it? Does it inhibit us or set us free? Do we create borders in our own hearts or do others create them on a map?

The prize this year is an incredible trip to Japan, and of course, to be printed in the Tiger Camera book, which will sit alongside Tiger’s other photography books, most notably the recent ‘Conceptual Photography’ book by Yoko Ono.

Unlike other photography competitions, Tiger Camera 2015 is free to enter, and open to everyone – no matter what your experience level or passion. If you have a camera, and have creativity – you can enter.
