The Post-Star recently launched “gallerE,” an online art show, on Poststar.com. The digital gallery features pieces by local visual artists working in a variety of media.

The site currently features image galleries dedicated to Benj Gleeksman, Jenny Hutchinson, Craig Murphy, Leslie Parke and Liz Parsons. Additional artists will be added each month.

Gleeksman, who lives in Saratoga Springs, is a native of Central New Jersey and a Skidmore College alumnus. Hutchinson, gallery curator and marketing coordinator at LARAC, lives in Glens Falls and has a private studio space at The Shirt Factory. Craig Murphy has been working as a commercial photographer in upstate New York for more than 20 years and began experimenting with the original wet plate Collodion process five years ago. Leslie Parke is a Cambridge-based artist who has exhibited work around the country, including at Southern Vermont Arts Center, Albany Institute of History and Art and Bennington Museum. Liz Parsons is a multimedia artist who lives and works in Glens Falls.
