These lessons help review the Elements of Art with students and give them a chance to use the vocabulary to critique famous works of art. Paul Klee is our featured artist. After learning about him, students create a Klee inspired clay work of art.
As with all of my lessons, Marzano's DQs have been included in this lesson. Several links to Klee's Art put to music have been included to really set the atmosphere in your classroom. My students love creating while music is playing.
My teaching schedule allows me to see each class once a week. The teaching duration reflects this schedule. Thanks for stopping by my store. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Beth

Kennebunk Free Library calls for artists
The Kennebunk Free Library is accepting applications for artists to exhibit during 2016. Since its inception in 2001, Hank’s Room Gallery, rechristened the Speers Gallery in 2010, has offered exhibit opportunities to both amateur and professional artists. The gallery has been host to a variety of media including photography, textile arts and mixed-media assemblages, in addition to renditions in oil, pastel, pen and ink, and watercolor.
The application process is open to either individual or group shows. Applications must be received by Oct. 15 to be considered for exhibition in 2016. The submitted applications will compete in a juried review conducted by an Art Committee consisting of members from the library and art communities. Application forms are available at the library, 112 Main St., or online at www.kennebunklibrary.org.
