Learn how to market and sell art online at the Saline Library

SALINE - Artists, writers, musicians and other creative entrepreneurs who want to promote and sell their art online can get some help this month at the Saline District Library, 555 N. Maple Road. Art Meets Business @ the Library is a series of free, informal networking meetings sponsored by the Saline Library in partnership with Two Twelve Arts Center and Art Meets Business. The second program in the series, “Marketing Your Art on the Internet,” will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at the Saline Library. Expert crafter, instructor, and craft store owner (www.TaDaaStudio.com) Christy Howden will lead the session. With an MBA and 6,000 online sales under her belt, Howden will discuss target markets and the various Internet platforms for selling art. She’ll also share the secrets of her success.
Future networking meetings are scheduled for June 25, Sept. 16, Oct. 21 and Nov. 18. All will be held at the Saline Library except for the June meeting, which will be at Two Twelve Arts Center, 216 W. Michigan Ave. in Saline.
