Senior Marketing Artist (SOMA / south beach)

compensation: 80-90K

A gaming company here in San Francisco that is on the top 100 grossing apps in 100 countries on both iOS and Android is looking for a Senior Marketing Artist to join their team. This platform was founded in 2011, and launched in 2013 with over 20 million downloads. The ideal candidate must be able to take concepted ideas and render them into high quality media assets that will be used in various areas such as, App Store splash pages, ingame cover art, game icons, and ads. This candidate must not only has a keen eye for detail, but is also passionate about their work and able to work at a fast pace. This role will work primarily in Photoshop.

Required Skills
• Experiecne working with Photoshop
• Solid fundamentals in drawing and painting; laws of natural light and shadow, and a good understanding of illustration and design
• A good understanding of form, shape, structure and silhouette
• Large visual database and a passion for video games
• Experience working with deadlines, and a deadline driven mentality to complete your work
• Able to work in a wide range of styles
• Solid understanding and comfortability with both Photoshop and Illustrator
