Abhishek Poddar invests $200,000 in online auction startup

NEW DELHI: Indian businessman and avid art collector Abhishek Poddar has invested $200,000 in a new online business that has been set up by an Australian entrepreneur Tim Goodman to auction fine art and diamonds globally. Set up with an idea of slashing fees and simplifying the auction process, Fine Art Bourse (F.A.B.) will challenge the current business models of giants like Sotheby's and Christie's, according to its founders.
